Applied Empirical Health Economics
In the project seminar, applied empirical research is introduced in the field of health economics. The seminar closely follows the textbook Jones et al. (2007) „Applied Health Economics“. Each chapter of the book deals with one question of empirical health economics, such as „Inequality in health“ which is then analyzed applying econometric tools (e.g. generalized Lorenz curves, Probit regression for ordered categories, interval regression) using Stata®.
